Other Cambrian Critters

Besides the Sanctacaris and the Naraoia, there are others critters that live in the same habitats as they do. Only a hand full of those will be display in these page.

1. Opabinia

This is an image of a fossilize Opabinia

• Opabinia is one of those Cambrian critters that live at the same time and the same habitats as the Sanctacaris and the Naraoia.
• It can grew up 8cm, which means about three inches,
• With the grasping claws of its long, tube-like proboscis, it probably use it to stuffed its prey in its mouth.
• Its prey are worms

2. Pikaia

This is an image of a fossilize Pikaia

• It can grow up to 4cm, which is about an inch and a half
•  Not much had been discovered yet about this mysterious creature.

3. Hallucigenia

This is an image of a fossilize Hallucigenia

• It can grow up to 3cm, which are about a little over an inch.
• Scientist suggested that it may have been living crawling on the sea floor trying to find anything it can eat. (In other words it may be a scavenger when it was alive)
